Pulp Fiction -Target audience

From the cover of Pulp Fiction you would assume that the film is for adult viewing. The reasons for this could be for the provocative looking woman wearing red lipstick and with a low cleavage line, suggesting that it is not appropriate for a younger audience. On the cover she is doing adult activities such as smoking and has her hand on a pack of cards which could imply gambling. These activities a child would not relate to therefore probably isn't a good movie for them to watch. There is also a gun in the foreground which could show that this film has violence in it, suggesting that it is not sutible for childrens viewing. The film cover in itself looks quite old fashioned, perhaps telling to person who intend on watching it how long ago it was filmed and again tells us what generation should be watching it.
