Final Cut Pro |
I thought that editing was extreamly awarding as I liked seeing all the clips creating a narrative. Also,
I really liked the group that i was in which meant that we had a good time as well as being productive.
I thought that the programme 'Final cut pro' was confusing as I had never used anything like it before. It became increasingly more stressful as the week went on as we all became really tired and ended up fighing over the computer making it harder to finnish the work we had been set.
When i was younger I used a programme called garage band which is slightly similar to Final cut pro but instead of films it's for music. Therefore i found it quite easy to set up and match the scenes as i had previously had some practice.
To be honest, I don't think that the extra shots made much of a difference as we only used one of them, however i could see how they would in our actual thriller.
I think if we were to do this again i would want to have a smaller group as i think there being too many of us made it hard to do the editing as we all wanted a go, whereas if there were fewer then there would be fewer arguements and we would get more work done. I think overall my team did pretty well and we were all pretty kean to have a go at editing which made it clear that we all played equal roles.
