Kyle Cooper

Kyle Cooper was born July 1962. In the beginning he worked as head of the creative department in an advertising industory at R/GA, an advertising agency in America. Then in 1993 he created the title for a sequence called 'Se7en', by doing this he inspired many other yong directors. In 1996 he co-founded 'Imaginary Forces' which is a creative agency that came out of the West Coast division, however he then left imaginary forces. In 2003, Cooper created the creative agency 'Prologue'. Prologue, once called malibu moved to offices in Venice Beach, Los Angeles, in 2008. He then created a feature film.

The youtube video shows how Kyle Cooper has got involved and what he has done and helped do:
In the interviews we see how Cooper is praised for designing films covers, this is seen as one of the main aspects because it draws the audience in and attracts attention, his biggest titles consist of spider-man, superman and his first title seven:

One of the film which Kyle Cooper directed was 'Se7en' The opening sequence of this film shows cleary shows his directing technique, using low exposure and shutterspeed. Cooper also overlays his shots, which is when he puts one shot on top of another, creating a disolve effect.
This makes the watcher believe that whoever he's filming possibly has a disjointed mind and sees things differently to other people. The handwriting which is shown is also seen to be scribbley and untidy, possibly relating back to the characters state of mind. Kyle Cooper manages to show this not only through the way he films it but also by using non diagetic music in the backround, creating an overall eerie sense.
