Inspiration for our thriller
Alfred
Hitchcocks Psycho influenced the killing in our thriller. The stabbing in this we used to base in our thriller. We asked our actor to dress in a dark cloak and to lurk in the darkness, creating an obscured identity. We thought that when our victum died, she would die with her eyes open. This creates an eerie atmosphere and almost makes it seem as though she was the only witness, and now she is dead no one will ever know. It also takes away the sence of peaceful ness and calm that dead bodies usually have.

The shadow on the wall adds a sence of super naturalism and takes away the sence of realism. It makes the character seem much bigger as his shadow is much bigger than his victum. It also makes them seem negative and as if they lurk in the shadows.
The hallway scene from Nosferatu also caught
our attention. The shadows connote that you cannot hide from him as he is everywhere. We used this in our thriller as the girl ends up getting cornered and murdered, just as she thinks she is safe.
